'In Case Of' is a collaborative painting exploring balance, texture, and layered storytelling.
The process begins with discussion of colour, placement, and tone. Emma paints the object first, establishing structure and realism. Struan then adds bold, graffiti-like marks, after which Emma returns to refine details. Finally, Struan revisits the work to integrate the layers fully.
It’s a dialogue between control and disruption, realism and intervention — two approaches converging into a single, resolved image.
