This work is a collaboration by Emma and Struan.

The Buccaneer Series is a collaborative body of work where street art meets grunge, with elements of realism throughout. Emma begins the work by painting the skull. Struan then introduces graffiti and raw mark-making, after which Emma blends and refines it back. We move back and forth across the canvas, layering detail, texture, and response until the work feels resolved. Each piece is built through this shared process, carrying both artists’ hands from start to finish.
