Rooms that spark

A child’s room can be more than soft colours and matching bed linen. It can be a space that sparks curiosity, fuels imagination, and makes them feel like they can invent their own world.
Psychologists have long studied how our surroundings shape us. Colour, pattern, and imagery in early environments can influence everything from creativity to confidence. Playful artwork can become a visual anchor - a familiar, comforting presence that grows with a child over the years.
In Struan’s work, there’s often a thread of nostalgia woven through the brushstrokes. It might be a nod to childhood memories, vintage tones, or timeless silhouettes. The result is art that speaks on two levels: something magical and intriguing for the child, but deeply resonant for the parent. Both can live with it, love it, and keep finding new meaning in it.
We’ve created commissioned pieces for spaces that started as rocket launchpads, became teenage hideouts, and eventually moved into first apartments. The right artwork never outgrows you.
Whether you’re styling a nursery, refreshing a spare room, or curating a space for someone small (or just small for now), we can create something that’s theirs alone and yours too.
